It is recognized by its dark amber color and its unmistakable pleasantly bitter flavour. Velvety and surprising taste, which reveals particular notes of bitter oranges, cinchona, gentian and rhubarb. Ideal for all occasions, when mixed and perfect at the end of a meal.
Appearance: Clear deep bronze amber
Aroma: Herbal, rooty and slightly spicy with gentian, zesty orange and liquorice
Taste: Bittersweet and very complex with cleansing gentian, pine, eucalyptus, citrus and faint spice balancing honey and caramel richness
Aftertaste: long bittersweet finish with lingering liquorice and pine
Overall: An amaro that will please most fans. Not overly sweet and not overly bitter. Complex but approachable
