CLASSIFICATION. Red wine Amarone Riserva DOCG 2011.
GRAPES. Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella.
PRODUCTION PROCESS. Riserva del Fondatore is the distinctive wine that expresses the love of three generations of winemakers for their territory and the dedication to winemaking traditions. We are proud to combine historical traditions with modern techniques, to produce an authentic expression of the territory as a tribute to the founder of the winery. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected, before being placed in boxes, where they rest during the natural process of "Appassimento" for about 3 - 4 months. After the slow fermentation, the wine is transferred to small French oak barriques, where it ages for about 24 months and then left to refine in the bottle.
