Winemaker Notes

Deep purplish red, clean and bright. On the nose, a range of red fruits, such as raspberry and cherry predominate with a high aromatic intensity joining with balsamic and cocoa, coffee and roasted tones. A fresh and elegant wine, with an easy and balanced entry into the mouth, leaving feelings of meatiness and volume in the passage through it. Slightly sweet and toasted notes and a pleasant and balanced aftertaste where we return to remember all the fruity tones detected in the olfactory phase.

Pairs well with fried fish and sauce, sausage, white meat, roasted poultry, sea and mountain rice, soft or under-cured cheeses .

Critical Acclaim

James Suckling

A juicy, fruity red with blackberry, bark and hints of dried fruit. Medium body, linear and fine tannins and a fruity finish. Quite ripe, but a nice feel to this young wine. Better in 2020.

Inky ruby. Dark berries, roasted coffee and a hint of spiciness on the nose. In a plush, open-knit style, showing good energy to the sweet black and blue fruit and vanilla flavors. The spicy note recurs on a long, smooth finish that shows just a hint of tannins. Aged for six months in new and used French and American oak. Drinking window: 2021 - 2026
