Belstar Prosecco is made by a family that can almost be considered to be the royal family of the Prosecco region – Bisol. With a history of wine production stretching back five centuries, the family wine business took on its current form at the end of World War II and today Bisol produce some of the Prosecco region’s most highly regarded wines. Aside from the Bisol family’s premium “Cru” and “Millesimati” ranges of Prosecco though (ranges from which some of those fine expressions of this region hail) Bisol have also been instrumental in popularising the wines of the region of Prosecco. Produced under the wider Prosecco DOC classification (rather than the more restrictive Valdobbiadene or Conegliano DOCG classifications) and in a non-vintage style, the aim is to produce a popular style of Prosecco that is consistent in taste and sensation.

A pale lemon colour in the glass, with hints of green towards the rim (and numerous larger bubbles rising from the base of the glass) this Bel Star Prosecco offers an enticing set of aromas as it is regarded. Notes reminiscent of pipe white peaches and sweet pears rise from the glass, along with a hint of water over stone minerality.
