From Maipo Valley, Central Valley, Chile, Don Melchor 2012 is a red wine by Don Melchor. Don Melchor is Chile's original icon Cabernet, grown in the Puente Alto vineyard at the foot of the Andes. The 2021 vintage was named Wine Spectator's Wine of the Year 2024.

Tasting Notes

A mature vintage of Chile's original icon: the Puente Alto Cabernet's red and black fruit is now joined by tertiary notes of cedar, tobacco, leather and forest floor, with tannins softened by bottle age. Stand the bottle upright before serving and decant gently off any sediment.
