From Maipo Valley, Central Valley, Chile, Don Melchor 2016 is a red wine by Don Melchor. Don Melchor is Chile's original icon Cabernet, grown in the Puente Alto vineyard at the foot of the Andes. The 2021 vintage was named Wine Spectator's Wine of the Year 2024.

Tasting Notes

Puente Alto Cabernet Sauvignon now entering its drinking window: cassis, red berries and violet with graphite and cedar, fine-grained tannins and a long, fresh finish. Decant for an hour, or cellar for another decade.
