Terroir: Vineyards grow at an altitude of between 800 to 850m, on a weathered soilbed of granite, sand, quartz and silica. Age of vines is between 40 to 60 years old
Ageing: Little interventionist winemaking, fermentation took place in low and controlled temperatures, using indigenous yeast and non destemmed grapes

Color: Delicate, brilliant and pale ruby in colour with brick red hues
Nose: On the nose, it is refined, with a subtle perfume of berry fruits like blackcurrant, raspberry, liquor cherries and intense balsamic notes of eucalyptus and a floral hint of camomile
Palate: On the palate, it is clean with a silky texture that provides a delicate and airy mouthfeel. A red wine with temper, and notable freshness. Red fruit, spices as clove and subtle toasted wood aromas persist on the aftertaste

About the Winery: The project started in 2010 with the two winemakers of Comando G. – Fernando Garcia and David Landi joining efforts to develop wines from old vines of Garnacha from the Gredos Mountain. Vines were selected from five different vineyards between 50 to 90 years old, located on the west side of Madrid in Cadalso de los Vidrios. The grapes are hand-harvested at the perfect moment of ripeness. Grape maceration lasts an average of 30 days at low temperature with fermentation then taking place at controlled temperature in oak barrels and wooden vats. The result is a true reflection of the Garnachas grown in the Gredos Mountain.
