Remelluri Reserva 2017

Remelluri is one of Rioja's oldest and most storied estates, farming biodynamically in the foothills of the Sierra de Toloño. This Reserva reflects the house's traditional, terroir-first style, built for structure and age-worthiness over immediate fruitiness.

Garnet with a brick edge, it shows dried red cherry, leather and sweet spice from extended oak ageing, with fine, resolved tannins and a long, savoury finish.

Tasting notes: Tempranillo-led blend, Reserva ageing. Garnet-brick; dried cherry and leather; savoury, long finish.

Food pairing: Roast lamb, aged Manchego, or Iberian charcuterie.
