"As Caborcas" is one of Telmo Rodríguez's most acclaimed projects, from the granite terraces of Ribeira Sacra in Galicia — a dramatic, terraced landscape where old-vine Mencía is farmed by hand on near-vertical slopes above the Sil River.

Bright ruby, it shows red cherry, violet and a distinct granite minerality, with fine, silky tannins and a fresh, elegant finish that shows the variety at its best.
