Telmo Rodriguez Pegaso Pizarra 2021

Telmo Rodríguez's Pegaso project explores Spain's lesser-known Sierra de Gredos, and Pizarra ("slate") highlights the region's high-altitude slate soils through old-vine Garnacha, grown well above 1,000m for real freshness.

Bright ruby, it shows red cherry, wild herbs and a distinct slaty minerality, light-to-medium bodied with fine tannins and a fresh, savoury finish.
