In 2015, Michael and Thomas Andres took over their parents' winery in Deidesheim, Palatinate. The brothers agreed: they didn't want to reinvent the world, they wanted to go their own way and make their own outstanding and exciting wines. For the two, precision and good craftsmanship are the two most important components for producing good wine. The type of soil and the prevailing climate along the Mittelhardt are characteristic of the wines from the Andres winery. From meager federal sandstone and lush limestone marl, an enormous range is represented. This versatility is reflected year after year in the minerality and diversity of the wines produced.
